The SMARŽO self-service laundry at Merķeļa Street 3 opened in April 2025. This is the largest Smaržo laundry to date, located right in the heart of Riga, at the beginning of Merķeļa Street.
At the Merķeļa Street Smaržo laundry, you’ll find both 10 kg and 20 kg washing machines, as well as 15 kg and large 25 kg dryers. Here, you can wash and dry even the biggest items — from duvets to mattress toppers.
In total, up to 90 kg of laundry can be washed simultaneously.

At Smaržo self-service laundry, you’ll find the latest and most modern washing technology. Professional-grade washing and drying machines will have your dirty laundry washed and dried in just one hour.

The SMARŽO laundry at Merķeļa Street 3 is open 24/7. During nighttime hours (from 00:00 to 06:00), the entrance can be accessed using the Wash-Mate app.

A market novelty available only at our locations – SMARŽO laundries feature a special washing machine and dryer dedicated to pet textiles. Now you can safely wash your furry friend’s blankets or mats without worrying about pet hair transferring onto other clothes.

Another new feature available at the laundry – ozonation, which removes unwanted odors and bacteria from your clothes, shoes, or helmets.
